The oil is steam distilled from the Chamomile flower with a light bluish to yellow liquid color. The relaxing aroma of this essential oil is sometimes described as like 'apples and straw'; an exotic and rich scent. The Anthemis nobilis L oil is commonly accepted as the best smelling of the Chamomiles having a calming, soothing, and relaxing properties. The oil is a favorite to help ease children and adults alike to sleep. Being prediluted to 33%, the oil is ready for diffusing before bedtime, applying externally, or adding to a warm bath to promote relaxation and a refreshing night of sleep, help ease tired muscles and aching joints. Chamomile essential oil is also very popular in children’s soaps, washes and shampoos for babies.

Chamomile Roman Essential Oil blends well with: Bergamot, Clary Sage, Lavender, Geranium, Jasmine, Neroli, Patchouli, Tea Tree, Rose, Lemon and Ylang-ylang. CAUTIONS: No known toxicity.
